Israel strikes 2 homes, killing more than 90 Palestinians as troops expand south Gaza offensive RAFAH, Gaza Strip (AP) — More than 90 Palestinians, including dozens from an extended family, were killed in Israeli airstrikes on two homes, rescuers and hospital officials said Saturday, a day after the U.N. chief warned again that nowhere is safe in Gaza and that Israel’s ongoing offensive is creating “massive obstacles” to the distribution of humanitarian aid.Also Saturday, the Israeli military said troops arrested hundreds of alleged militants in Gaza over the past week and transferred more than 200 of them to Israel for further interrogation, providing rare details on a controversial policy of mass roundups of Palestinian men. Argument in Westminster parking lot leads to deadly shooting DENVER (KDVR) -- Police in Westminster investigated a shooting in a parking lot late Friday night that killed one and critically injured another.Officers responded to the 8900 block of Harlan Street around 10:35 p.m. and found an adult man suffering from a gunshot wound.He was taken to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries.Shortly after, officers were notified of an additional adult man who was also at a local hospital. He was in critical condition suffering from a gunshot wound.Police said it is believed an argument ensued between several adult men in the parking lot which led to several of them firing guns at each other.WPD said they did not believe there was a danger to the public.The investigation was ongoing.

Trooper injured when cruiser struck by suspected DUI driver in West Bridgewater A state trooper and two other people were taken to the hospital early Saturday morning after a state police cruiser was struck by a suspected drunken driver on Route 24 in West Bridgewater, officials said.A trooper reported around 12:30 a.m. that his cruiser was struck while he was conducting a motor vehicle stop on Route 24 southbound, according to state police. The trooper reported that his cruiser was pushed into him while he was outside of it, causing him to be struck by the vehicle.Three people were taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in Brockton to be treated for minor injuries, state police said.The driver who struck the trooper was charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of liquor. 1 dead, 1 injured from shooting in Steeles and Weston area One male has died and another has serious injuries from a shooting in the Steeles Avenue West and Weston Road on Saturday morning. Toronto police responded to a call at approximately 1:53 a.m. for reports of a shooting.Two males had been shot, one male was transported to hospital via emergency run and was pronounced deceased, and the second male was at the hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.There is no suspect information at this time and an investigation is ongoing.
